EXPERIENCE
As principal audiologist and director of Earscan my goal is to provide a customised service to individuals, at times working with family members and other loved ones, to achieve the best possible outcome.
I began working in the provision of hearing services in 2002 and over the years have specialised in fitting hearing aids and assistive listening devices to overcome communication difficulties.
I completed a post graduate Diploma in Audiological Science and a Master of Clinical Audiology, both at Melbourne University. My research project looked at current and future trends in hearing aid technology, a keen interest of mine.
I also completed a Bachelor of Social Science in Socio-Environmental Assessment and Policy and as a result, Earscan has implemented environmentally friendly practices in the office to reduce waste and encourage recycling.
I was thrilled to be interviewed by Alix for her book ‘Energy for Life’, contributing to a chapter on hearing and ways to protect and enhance it. 17 health care professionals were interviewed for the book and has resulted in a whole body guide to “keep the mind, body and soul in peak condition”. LOCATION
Earscan is located at 467 Toorak Road, Toorak with Eyescan, conveniently on street level near the pedestrian crossing in the heart of Toorak Village.
Street parking is available with a large carpark located behind the store in Jackson street (Woollies car park). The 58 tram stop is a few meters form the from door and bus stops are also located nearby.

We realise how important it is for those with hearing difficulties to have the latest technology to perform well at university or in the work place, but understand that maintaining and/or purchasing new hearing aids when required can be difficult financially.
